How published THC figures compare

Leafly displays 18% THC; AllBud publishes a 15–24% range; Weedmaps displays a 21–26% range; and Sensi Seeds says its regular line can exceed 20% THC.2,3,4,5 These are source-specific database or seller figures, not interchangeable measurements of every Jack Herer batch.

In the matched state-lab sample, 5.4% of tests reach 25% total THC or more and 90% fall below 24.00%.1 The median is more informative than a maximum because the records come from 9 states and 26 distinct labs.1

Individual-terpene results are available for 415 tests. Their leading medians are terpinolene 0.51%, β-caryophyllene 0.29%, α-humulene 0.11%.1 Leafly likewise identifies terpinolene as dominant, followed by caryophyllene and pinene.2

Limits of this data

  • Coverage is uneven: Nevada (396), Maryland (380), Washington (61), Michigan (22), California (15), Hawaii (13), Massachusetts (11), Utah (10) and Connecticut (2) provide the matched tests, dated 2015–2024. The aggregation is a non-random public-record and certificate-of-analysis subset, not a census of every Jack Herer product.1
  • No single identified lab accounts for more than 29% of the 897 matched tests that identify a lab, but lab methods and reporting fields differ. 494 totals are reported and 416 are computed from Δ9-THC + 0.877 × THCA.1
  • Strict matching excluded 296 near-match records, including 102 flower records. Crosses, extracts and products using the Jack Herer name in a longer name are not silently added to the base-strain sample.1
  • CBD and terpene coverage differ from the total-THC sample. 751 of the 877 tests that reported CBD found none, and 1 reached 1% or more.1
